As a part of PGE’s Community Wildfire PG&E power shut off’s, if extreme fire danger conditions threaten or are anticipated to threaten or to be negatively impacted by the electric system serving West Marin, PGE may turn off electricity in the area in the interest of public safety. Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) can come at any time during your stay and PGE may or may not give advance notification of a PSPS. If we are given advance notice we will inform you immediately. Certain features during your stay may be adversely impacted by a power outage such as lights, wifi, appliance, hot tub, septic/plumbing, fire alarm systems, etc. The lack of electricity may limit your use or make use of the property unsafe during the PSPS. Kenko House is not responsible for any inconvenience, damage, or injury you may experience as a result of the PSPS during your stay. However we will refund the days not used if you decide to leave. If you decide to stay and enjoy a more off/on grid experience, portions of the property function off grid and we will try to support your stay with the help of backup power as well.
